Hey U-Co fam,

Let me share something I've learned over the 5 years of building U-Co, we turn 5 this month! 🥳 🎉

Life is a roller coaster of challenges and heartaches, with plenty of uncomfortable moments. But these moments, as tough as they are, have pushed me beyond my limits and led me to the freedom to accomplish my goals.

It’s in those difficult times that we truly grow, while the comfortable moments often lead to challenges down the road.

“Hard choices, easy life. Easy choices, hard life.”

- Jerzy Gregorek

Life has taught me that climbing a mountain takes longer than descending it. It’s a slow, steady journey upward, and the higher we go, the tougher it gets. But the climb is where the real progress happens.

I want to challenge you to think about your own climb. What’s your mountain? What goals are you aiming for? The items on your vision board, the dreams you’re pursuing, this is your mountain. And I’ve got a few steps to help you climb it more effectively so that reaching the top feels less like an impossible challenge.

Steps to Conquering Your Mountain

  1. Plan Your Path: Before you take your first step, plan your strategic path. Think ahead and map out your route.

  2. Keep Your Eye on the Goal: Stay focused. Take one step today towards your goal, and don’t lose sight of what you’re aiming for.

  3. Share Your Mission: Let the people you care about know what you’re working towards. Show them that you’ve already taken the first step.

  4. Find Your Tribe: Look for others who are on a similar journey. Surround yourself with people who are walking next to you, in front of you, or even behind you.

  5. Join Forces: Collaborate with those who share your mission. Bring them on board to support each other’s climb.

  6. Learn from Your Steps: Reflect on your progress. Take better, more thoughtful steps as you move forward.

  7. Redesign as Needed: Simplify your initial steps as you gain more clarity. Make adjustments where necessary.

  8. Execute and Move Forward: Put your revised plan into action. Keep climbing.

  9. Rinse and Repeat: Every three months, revisit steps 6-8. Keep refining and improving your approach.

  10. Enjoy the Journey: Remember, it’s not just about reaching the top. Enjoy the climb, cherish your values, and appreciate the people who support you along the way.

Climbing the U-Co mountain with all of you has been a privilege. Thank you for being part of my journey, for sharing in my story, and for allowing me to meet you all along the way.

Cheers,

Marco
