Hey #ucofam,

Hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving! I’m beyond grateful for another year of U-Co adventures (we turned 5, still a toddler in the business world), and for the past six months of sharing this newsletter with you every single Friday, no skips, no excuses! It’s been a journey of learning, growing, and connecting with this incredible community.

As 2024 winds down, I thought I’d give you the inside scoop on what’s been cooking at U-Co this year. It started with some tough calls and challenges but ended on a pretty epic note. Here’s a snapshot of what we achieved together:

Sold U-Co Guadalajara to Chingon Coliving (those legends are crushing it, go visit them!).
Opened U-Co Polanco with private rooms for our long-stay family.
Remodeled U-Co Centro (opening date soon, stay tuned!).
Kept this newsletter alive for six months straight (yes, I’m giving myself a pat on the back for being consistent).
Launched Hola Neo—your go-to assistant for renting or owning a home in Mexico.
Added a 6-capsule female dorm to U-Co Roma.
Teamed up on 40+ Airbnb partnerships (coming 2025).
Upgraded U-Co Roma with digital door locks, fancy, right?
Hit up the Hostelworld conference in Mexico City.
Hosted over 15,000 guests! That’s 15,000 stories, friendships, and memories.

The best part? Seeing how U-Co has become more than just a place to stay, it’s a home, a community and a chapter in so many incredible journeys. Thank you for making U-Co a part of your story and for sharing your lives with us.

As we look toward 2025, I’m filled with excitement for what’s next. This community has grown in ways I couldn’t have dreamed of, and I can’t wait to see where we go from here. December is all about planning for the future, so I’ll keep this one short and sweet.
