Hey #ucofam,

With Thanksgiving around the corner, it’s the perfect time to pause, reflect, and embrace the art of gratitude. This week, I want to share something close to my heart: being thankful.

We often focus on what’s missing, what’s next, or what’s wrong—but what if we flipped the script? Let’s use this season as a reminder to appreciate the little things that make life so rich. Here are a few daily practices I use to stay grounded and thankful (yes, even on the tough days):

1. Keep a Daily Gratitude Journal

Every day, jot down three things you're thankful for. It could be as small as finding the perfect pumpkin pie recipe or as big as reconnecting with an old friend. Writing it down trains your brain to seek out the good—even when life feels like a mess.

2. Smile at Life

Life throws curveballs, but I’ve learned (the hard way) to smile anyway. Whether you’re struggling to baste the turkey or navigating life's challenges, a smile is free therapy—and it makes everything a little lighter.

3. Express Love

Thanksgiving isn’t just about food; it’s about people. So, tell the people who matter most just how much they mean to you. A quick text, a random call, or even a hug can make someone's day—and remind you how lucky you are to have them in your life.

4. Perform Acts of Kindness

Offer a seat to someone, donate to a cause, or compliment that aunt who brings the best stuffing. Kindness is contagious, and you’ll feel just as good giving it as they will receiving it.

A Special Thanksgiving Wish

This season, I wish you all the joy and warmth that comes with a grateful heart. May your days be filled with laughter, meaningful connections, and a little pumpkin pie.

As part of our U-Co family, I’m thankful for each of you. Whether you’re halfway across the globe or just next door, know that you’re part of a community that values connection, growth, and happiness.

Let’s celebrate the good, embrace the challenges, and keep spreading those positive vibes. What are you grateful for today? Share it with me, and let’s make this season truly special. 🧡

Cheers,
Marco
